The Höri, views of my beautiful peninsula
There is a little anecdote about the Höri, but it only works well in the allemanic dialect.
At the end of creation at that time it was in such a way that God still held one last special lump of earth in his hands and placed it here on Lake Constance, since he saw that his work was now perfect, he said:" Now I stop it " ger. allemanic "Jetzt hör i uf ". Now stop it. I like the story even though I am an atheist :D and in summer it IS really wonderful here.

Es gibt da ja eine kleine Anekdote, die man sich über die Höri erzählt , funktioniert aber nur gut in dem allemanischen Dialekt.
Und zwar trug es sich damals zu Ende der Schöpfung so zu, dass Gott am Schluß noch einen letzten besonderen Klumpen Erde in Händen hielt, und in hier am Bodensee plazierte. Als er sah, dass sein Werk nun perfekt war, sprach er :" Jetzt hör i uf " ( Jetzt höre ich auf) . Mir gefällt die Geschichte auch wenn ich Atheist bin :D und im Sommer ist es hier wirklich herrlich.

A view to the south from the Schienerberg, the mountain range on the Höri, that is the Glarus Alps 100 km away.

To the right next to the port of Moos at the beginning of the Höri, if the Bodensee has extremely low water, a muddy beach is formed here in front of the reeds. Not recommended without rubber boots ;-)
Rechts neben dem Hafen von Moos Am Anfang der Höri, wenn der Bodensee extrem Niedrigwasser hat entsteht hier vor dem Schilf ein schlammiger Strand. Ohne Gummistiefel nicht zu empfehlen ;-)

Look what a swan left for me to the right of the jetty. Yes the swans, you meet here very often and they are perfect as models.
Schaut was ein Schwan rechts neben dem Anlegesteg für mich hinterließ. Ja die Schwäne , trifft man hier sehr oft und sie eignen sich hervoragend als Models

On the right-hand side of the horizon is the Konstanz Cathedral.
Rechts am Horizont ist hier das Konstanzer Münster zu erkennen.
I would like to conclude with this special view from a place which, unlike most other places on Lake Constance, is hardly known to anyone. This morning a sea of clouds covered Lake Constance, otherwise you have a great view over Constance and the Obersee to the Austrian Alps.

Abschließen möchte ich mit diesem speziellen Blick von einer Stelle die im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Stellen am Bodensee kaum jemandem bekannt sein dürfte. An diesem Morgen bedeckte ein Wolkenmeer den Bodensee, sonst hat man von dieser Stelle einen tollen Blick über Konstanz und den Obersee hinweg bis zu den österreichischen Alpen.
Ich hoffe euch hat die kleine Stöberei in meinem Archiv gefallen, lasst es mich wissen wenn ihr davon mehr sehen wollt. Und wenn das Wetter mitmacht nehme ich euch nächstes mal mit zu meinem ersten Wintershooting 2017 am Bodensee
