Have we been wrong about our solar system? (video)

Throughout history humans have learned time and time again that we don't really understand the world in which we live.

We have been wrong about so many big things, it makes me wonder how many other things we still got all wrong.

We use to believe the sun revolved around the earth.

Then we believed the earth was flat and we could fall off.

Now we are told that the pyramids are just a giant tomb,

and that our solar system sits in the universe like a bobber without moving.

So many things don't add up when you think about it, but no one seems to question it.

Anyhow, while looking for something totally different I stumbled upon these videos :)

which better explain how I see our solar system working.

This model make sense in relativity to how things move, it would explain why our sun burns so hot and why we keep seeing the same anomalies over and over again ie. haileys comet.

I know this is hard to wrap your mind around but it actually makes a whole lot more sense to me.

However, I am not a scientist or even that smart (to be honest lol) so maybe I'm completely wrong.

Either way, at least I got you thinking ;)

My organic tomatoes!

My first organic cherry tomatoes finally started turning red and they are beautiful and delicious! This is my first year having a garden and it is more fulfilling then I ever could have imagined! I wish I could get everyone to try it!

If you enjoy gardening and want to see more or are interested in starting a garden next year then add me, I will be doing a bunch of articles on homesteading and gardening in the spring. I know its a long time to wait, but like a garden, it'll be well worth it!😉 take care.

Being the change I want to see in steemit

Being a minnow on steemit is hard, especially when you first join. I would know, I just joined a few months ago. And let's face the truth, this platform could be more user friendly to the new minnows. Don't get me wrong, I am not hating on steemit at all, in fact I love the steemit platform! It is just still fairly new and has things to work on, no big deal, Rome wasn't built in a day. Instead of just bitching about the things I don't like, I am going to "be the change I want to see in the world steemit."

So back to my point about being new on steemit. I know there is steemit chat and other ways minnows can get help but it's still very confusing and a little bit overwhelming at first, as there is no real direction on how to even do these things. When I first joined steemit I really did feel like a *minnow* lost in the deep blue sea. Wandering lost, trying my best to follow what other people were doing but not knowing exactly why. I was very tempted to quit multiple times but I'm extremely happy I didn't. Now I want to help other minnows from having the same issues I had.

Since I finally feel like I am getting to know steemit I started trying to help 1 minnow a week to guide them through some things that were not so easy for me to figure out.

• I tell them which discords to join and how to get support
• I send them upvotes from upvote services and multiple discords
• I do post promotions for them and teach them how to do their own
• I explain how to utilize upvote bots and resteem services
• I tell them who to follow to get free upvotes on all their posts and some free resteems
• And whatever else they are struggling with.....

I try to build their steemit account a little bit to give them a reason to stay on steemit and the correct tools to enjoy it right from the beginning, without all the headaches.

Why do I do this?

Mostly because I really believe in the steemit platform, but also because the more active users on steemit the better the chances of this platform growing. If that happens STEEM is worth more and everyone who has put time and effort into this platform WINS, so why not?

I know first hand that many people get discouraged quickly on steemit if they don't get any results in the first few weeks. I was fortunate enough to get a decent size upvote in the first couple of weeks of joining steemit so I was instantly hooked, but other people aren't so lucky to have the right person see one of their post and give it a big $ upvote.

This is the best way I could think of to personally help minnows and steemit to grow and succeed.

So that's what I am doing now, helping out new steemians, one minnow at a time!

There are so many tools and tricks that make steemit fun and I want everyone to have the chance to participate! So I will share the little knowledge I do have with any the new minnows that I can, because sharing is caring and minnows need as much help as they can get!

Together we can take steemit to the top, and we all will benefit from that!

What do I want?

If you are someone who has been around a while with steemit, just help out 1 minnow a week, or a month, or even a year without them asking, just throw them a bone. Find a minnow who put some heart into a post and give them just a little bit of your time to help grow steemit and make it a better place.

If you are a new minnow and need some help with anything, don't be afraid to ask me, I will do my best to answer any questions, even if they don't relate to my posts at all! After I help out minnows, all I ask is for them to pay it forward.

Helping other people to succeed feels great, so don't miss out on an awesome opportunity to making someones time easier on steemit with just a little bit of your time. Believe it or not, it will make you feel better about yourself too! We need more kindness in this world and it can start with something as simple as this :)

Do you remember that little thing called Imagination?

As children we often use our imaginations to play with our friends or to keep ourselves occupied when we are bored.
With just a little imagination a stick can become a light saber, a sword or even a gun!
With more imagination we could be anything.
We were knights of the round table, we were cops and robbers, and sometimes cowboys and Indians.
We would use big boxes to build spaceships, boats and race cars in my basement.
I remember we would pretend the ground was lava and used couch cushions to hop across the floor.
The fun was literally endless!
As long as we could dream it up, nothing could stop us from doing it.

Then one day it seems as if you wake up and it's all just gone. You are a teenager in middle school, worried about the opposite sex and popularity more than anything. What was once your best friend instead becomes your worst enemy as your insecurities take over what use to be your imagination."Fitting in" becomes more important than anything and it's not "cool" to pretend things anymore, "that is for children, not teenagers." So you toss aside your imagination like it was nothing more than a useless toy from your childhood and start conforming to the lockstep of society.

When was the last time you used your imagination? Where did it go?
Do you still believe that you need it in your life?

I find it sad that even in the summer you rarely see kids outside playing anymore, and if you do it is with some cool toy never with a stick or a finger for a gun. Imagination is being wiped out. Now we only see kids inside, sitting down in front of a television (being programmed) or playing video games all day long. You no longer see kids playing hockey or basketball in the streets, and sadly enough you don't even have to slow down around parks anymore because no kids are ever playing there.

What does that matter you ask? Well I have realized something about imagination recently. It is way more important than we think it is. It is the bridge that crosses the gaps of our dreams to reality!
You see we are told from a very young age that "anything is possible if we put our minds to it" but as we grow older we are basically told this is shit and we need to grow up and get a fucking job! The problem is that jobs are bullshit, you are working your ass off to enrich someone else's life? Why? Because we have crushed the imagination and dreams of so many people that now we think going to school, getting a degree, then getting a good job is the only answer to a happy life. Believe me, its not! I've had those things and was way more miserable than when I was just a broke stoner living on friends couches.

You see we are brainwashed into believing if you don't have a white picket fence and children then you have the wrong dream. If you try to go against the norm you get assaulted from every side. Your friends, your family, even your acquaintances all want you to do what they are doing, even though deep down they are miserable, because that is what society expects. And let me tell you about misery, it loves company! So don't get sucked into that mindset.

If you want something bad enough you will imagine a way to figure it out. The universe has a funny way of giving you what you want if you ask for it correctly. Unfortunately that way to ask for things is to use your imagination, to dream of what might be, or what you truly want your life to look like if you chose to follow those dreams. It all starts with a small idea that grows and grows as you talk about it, think about it, and act on it. You see your imagination is actually a very important tool in life to get you wherever you want to go, and all you have to do is just believe in it.

So don't let your imagination go to waste. Stop netflix and chilling, stop playing video games and constantly messing on your phone and start playing on the floor with your child. Pretend sticks are swords, boxes are race cars and that you can fly, because the only thing that is stopping you is your lack of imagination!

The world is yours!
Don't get held back in life because you forgot about that little thing called imagination!

So dream big and teach your children that ANYTHING is possible, as long as they can imagine it.

Chasing a SUNSET

I was driving home from the store a little bit ago when I realized it was going to be an epic sunset tonight. Unfortunately I only had my crappy galaxy s5 handy which takes basically the worst pictures ever. I snapped a few pictures with it only to confirm that I was right, the pictures were terrible (blurry).
So I raced home, grabbed my NIKON DSLR and ran down the street on foot to the river where there was a clearing in the brush. I managed to make it just in time, I snapped a few pictures just before dusk and they turned out absolutely amazing. I was scared that the picture wasn't going to do the moment justice, but as you can see I was wrong. It is truly stunning. So much so I had to come share it with all of you on steemit. Hope you enjoy this sunset even half as much as I did!

I don't know what it is, but there is truly something amazing about a beautiful sunset like this. As the colors splash across the sky for that brief period of time you almost forget about everything wrong in the world and only see its beauty. It is a powerful moment that fades as fast as the sunset does, so it's nice when you get a chance to catch a good one on camera.

Is there a rehab facility that focuses on silver addiction? Um, I'm asking for a friend... lol..

I made my first post about silver when I got my kilo stacker less than a month ago. Since then I have accrued more than 60 oz!

That might seem ridiculous for one month but Im in a unique spot because I am selling off all of my stuff to get ready to travel the country and then the world! Recently I find myself turning a lot of my the money I make from sales of my old stuff into silver. This week i traded my gas grill for this beautiful 10 oz stacker from APMEX.

Last week i sold my bose home theatre and bought this 1lb silver eagle!

I have been slowly selling all my stuff like old snowboards, mountainboards, wakeboards and anything else worth of value that I can't take with me. After I sell it I go right down to the silver store to get silver, like some kind of junkie! Lol.

The truth is, i feel like silver is WAY under priced. I feel like I'm loosing out on a lot of money when i sell my stuff, but when i take that little bit of money to the silver shop and exchange it for silver I feel like i just won the fricken lottery! Am I the only one who realizes this is true money? Not this paper garbage they force us to carry around and use.. There is just something special about silver, when you hold it you know/feel that it is money.

Anyhow, here is the collection of silver I ended up with after all my stuff was sold! It would of been more but my fiance put her foot down lol. She said I had to split it between silver and cryptos, she likes the gains from the cryptos (because she gets to spend that). I'll get her into stacking one day tho!

Not to bad, 69 oz in all. :)

OOPS Almost forgot about this little guy :/ He was hiding next to my dog tags in my safe.

Women are very sensitive and emotinal more then men. Women share love in all their behaviors and they like to recieve love not just understanding.  Women don't need to tell them about love. they want love itself.

Its hard to understand Women, but when you listen to them with your heart you will understand them clearly. 

As Men, we should learn how to treat them and give them love with simple behaviors, just listening quietly, being polite and gentle thats enough for them. So Dear friends love your Woman and always look after her then both of you will be Happy. 

Like Arabic proverb says, Women is like  land, as much as you give it and care about it as much you will give you back.

Children have always a special place in my heart. <3
I was so happy when I saw @helene's contest for it said there make a portrait of a child using pencil only. I love making portraits and I only have pencil so here's my entry. ^_^

I hope @helene, @htliao, and you guys will like it. ^_^

The Process

Step 1: The Outline of The Eyes

I chose to draw first the eyes because it's my favorite part. Haha!

Step 2: Add Some Details of The Eyes (Eyelashes,etc...)

Step 3: The Nose

It's my least favorite part when making a portrait. haha! I really find it difficult to draw a nose. :3

Step 4: The Mouth/The Lips/The Smile haha! and The Eyebrow

Step 5: The Outline of the Face, Arms and Legs

Step 6: The Hair

Step 7: The Dress

Step 8: Adding Background Colors

I used light blue and light orange color pencils for the background colors.

Step 9: The Final Touch

I added some details in my drawing and fixed some areas I don't like. (OCD) Haha
And I'm done! :D

By the way, these are the materials I used. ^_^

"What should I say?" This is a question I always ask myself whenever I have to write an essay, have a group sharing with friends, or even as I wrote this reflection.

"What should I say?" Do I ask this question because I want to impress, or because I want to share my message? Honestly, I don't have the best words to give you but what I can only share to you is this: I am doing this out of my love for writing and to bless others.

We are all God's children. We are design to love, inspire and comfort others. When we realize this, then it becomes easier to proclaim God's Word. It becomes easier to testify His love.

Friends, let's continue to express and spread love. People may forget our comforting words to them but the love of God that they feel beneath every word we say will bless their hearts forever.

Let us remember to bless the world with our words.

Keeping the piece of cucumber on the place of pain is beneficial. Mix salt in the cucumber piece and place it on the place of pain.

Helps to numb the nerve of the ice teeth, which can relieve pain and swelling. On heavy pain, press the ice piece on that place.

Mix one pinch or one or a half spoon of asafoetida powder in two teaspoons lemon juice and then heat the mixture lightly.
Now place this mixture on pain -affected areas.
