TreeTuesday - Trees from the Fraueninsel/Bäume von der Frauenchiemsee (Insel) - ENGLISH - GERMANY

TreeTuesday - Trees from the Fraueninsel/Bäume von der Frauenchiemsee (Insel)

On Sunday we had made a trip to Chiemsee. We had visited the Christmas market on the island Fraueninsel and also made a nice walk.

Although it was fresh and the wind did not spare us, we had fun and a good mood. Will write a post about the Christmas market in another day. Today it is about the trees that fit so wonderful to the gorgeous scenery of the island.

The trees, the snow, the fog, the mountains, the water, the benches, the rest disturbed only by the wind and water. We just loved it. The island, although small, has a lot to offer the eye.

I like the silence and the nature, I am aware that I write this more often. Maybe sometimes I have to switch off from the hustle and bustle.

In the picture above a branch looked so big, but it was just an optical illusion.

I like the houses on the shore have their own landing docks. In the summer it must be very attractive to go with boat and sit on the shore and enjoy the breeze.
Ich mag das die Häuser am Ufer ihre eigene Bootsanlagen haben.Im Sommer muss es sehr anlockend sein mit dem Boot zu fahren und am Ufer zu sitzen und die Brise genießen.

In the summer we will certainly come again. The area is beautiful and is worth visiting and I would recommend it to everyone.
Im Sommer werden wir sicherlich wieder kommen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und es lohnt sich und ich würde es jedem empfehlen.

Insanity ; 35 rotations around the sun (and the life lesson I have learned)

35 rotations around the sun (and the life lesson I have learned)

Remember the definition of insanity is: doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.
Today is my 35th birthday and for the first time in my life I finally feel like I got shit figured out. (lol)
I know this sounds crazy but I never had any dreams of going to college or even having some great career.
It's not that I'm lazy, I just couldn't see myself getting a job working (wasting) 8 hours a day (making someone else rich) for the rest of my life.
It never interested me one bit and I couldn't figure out why that was what humans did.

After making some mistakes and getting into some trouble as a teenager I joined the army thinking maybe that would give me some direction or at least something to hold me over until I figured out what I wanted in life.
But after two combat tours I was all funned out on the military.
Next came growing marijuana for a living.
I kinda fell into this job after the military and thought for a while it was a dream job.
I found I love growing marijuana, but not for other people, only as a hobby for myself.
After that I worked warehouse jobs, service jobs, tech jobs, I've tried it all and none of it was for me.
I didn't know what I was searching and didn't even know if I would find what I was looking for.

I tried following in the lockstep of society, I bought a house thinking it would make me happy, it didn't.
For years I have felt more trapped then ever.
So in January of this year my fiance and I decided we needed a change in our lives.
We didn't know where to start so we decided to start eating organically, just to make us healthier.
We also decided to stop poisoning ourselves with cigarettes and alcohol.

After starting that things just started falling into place for us.
We felt so good we decided to start walking daily, which then turned into working out and doing yoga.
Now instead of feeling lost or trapped, everyday I learn more about myself and life makes a little more sense.
All it took was for us to actually start changing, after that it was like a title wave of force started carrying us.

I woke up the other morning and realized this entire time I've been setting us up for a journey of a lifetime without even knowing it!
I had bought an old shitty victorian house about 5 years ago and remodeled the ENTIRE house since.
I have created a beautiful equity nest egg on accident because I couldn't afford the "nicer" home when I was first buying.
So instead I made the dream home I always wanted with sweat equity (doing all the work myself).
Now I can sell my home, buy an RV (cash) and travel for years if not forever with the money I'm investing in cryptos. :)
Finally, my dream job and life!

Who would of thought it would all come together on my 35th birthday!?!
Its absolutely incredible how life works itself out when you give it a little push!
So if you are under 35 (or even older) and feel like you are lost in your life, don't worry life has a funny way of working itself out.
It all starts with a little change. So if you don't like something about your life then change it!

Is the petro dollar dead?

Is the petro dollar dead?

For the first time in nearly 50 years America starting to loose the petrodollar power grip it has on the rest of the world.
China and Russia have been working towards a gold back (oil) trade for quite some time now and are finally ready to cut out the petrodollar completely.
They have created the Belt and Road Initiative, a trade agreement with 65 other countries (and counting) that will use the yuan and gold for trade rather than the petrodollar.
The United States isn't included in this initiative, by its governments own choice.
This is a very bad sign for what's about to come to Americans.
Their whole way of life is about to change and the government isn't even warning it's citizens about this potential coming crisis.
So when things change unexpectedly it will be very ugly for the unprepared masses.
And with Venezuela leaving the petrodollar for the gold backed yuan (for oil trade), you can feel a shift of power coming fast.
You have to understand that America makes a lot of it's money through currency exchanges. Since they force the entire world trade oil with American Dollars (petrodollar), they make a nice fee every time a countries exchanges it's currency for petrodollars to pay for goods. So if the petrodollar dies this country will decline extremely fast.
America is a country that survives on consumerism, and when the money dries up the party will all be over.
Many of the manufacturing jobs have relocated to other countries to save on the ridiculously high taxes that crush businesses.
Nearly everything is imported from china and other countries while exporting very little of its own goods.
Having to trade in the petrodollar is what gives America its power, and that is changing rapidly.
Americas greatest "asset" is it's student loan DEBT.
Now correct me if I'm wrong but debt is not an asset.
Assets are tangible items that can be turned into cash if needed (as·set ˈaset/ - PROPERTY owned by a person or company, regarded as having value and AVAILABLE to meet debts, commitments, or legacies).
I don't consider Debt without property as an asset, especially considering people can't afford to pay it back.
Unfortunately I don't see a way out of this mess and I don't think it is going to end well for many unprepared Americans.
The Petrodollar is dying, and along with it is Americas rein on the rest of the world.
Get ready for change!

Meet my best friend LOKI

Meet my best friend LOKI

We adopted Loki from a kill shelter 3 years ago now, at the time we were both broken looking for a friend to help. I suffer with PTSD from my 2 combat tours in Iraq and he had been locked in a cage for 3 years and returned twice because of his behavior, so I felt we both had issues that we could work through together.

I was right, we both just needed a friend!

Loki loves his toys so much he sleeps with them!

I mean he loves to tear them apart! Lol

But he also loves being a cuddle bug!
He doesn't even mind my girlfriend dressing him up for the holidays! Lol

We both found best friends and saved eachothers lives!!

Dogs are amazing companions, if you have the time and want a friend save one from a shelter, become a furever home!

5 tips on how to loose weight without working out!

5 tips on how to loose weight without working out!

I have lost more than 20% of my body weight (35lbs of fat) since january of this year!! I know it sounds crazy hard but its really not, anyone can do it as long as you stick with it. I would say these are all common sense tips but in todays society we have been lied to by advertisement so much that we don't know whats real and whats not! If you do these five things and stick with them, it will help you to lose weight. And the best part is you can combine them with any diet you choose or if you are just wanting to start somewhere on your weightloss journey these 5 tips apply regardless and they're FREE!
  1. STOP EATING FAST FOOD!
I know this sounds like a no brainer but people have a real difficult time giving up fast food because it is ADDICTIVE and so convienent. Truth is everyone knows how terrible this "food" is for you but they constantly make up excuses as to why they are eating it (its fast, its easy, i dont have time to cook) STOP MAKING EXCUSES! Tell yourself the truth everytime you drive by one, say outloud "THIS IS POISIN AND ITS SLOWLY KILLING ME AND MAKING ME FAT." This stuff is not food anymore, it will do nothing good for your body! Stop getting fooled by it. Know whats also convienent, not dying from a heart attack!
  2. STOP DRINKING SODA, ENERGY DRINKS AND SPORT DRINKS!
I can't even begin to express how terrible soda is for your body! And once again most people know this but nobody cares. It is definitely a huge contributor to our diebetes, overweight and health issues in america but nobody wants to do anything about it. This is literally killing people daily and no one thinks about it because it taste good!?! Thats dumb! You can not loose weight if you drink these sugary drinks regularly, its Impossable. If you really feel the need for something sweet then drink some all natural juice, a small portion 6 to 8 oz to curb that sweet tooth, but dont over do it because its still filled with sugar.
  3. DRINK MORE WATER
Water is one of the most essential needs for life! Think about it, we can go months without food (maybe longer) and not die, but we can't go more than a few days, at most a week without water. But getting people to drink water is like pulling teeth because everyone is addicted to the sweet factor of the energy drinks, sodas, sport drinks and now even juices are slammed with extra sugars and sweetners. I try to drink atleast a half gallon of water a day, that keeps me hydrated and also keeps me from snacking through out the day without getting hungry. You can also drink a glass of water before meals to help fill you without over eating. Or chug a glass of water instead of having a snack! Water can help on so many levels with weight loss its crazy, water even helps with digestion!! Just make sure to drink good filtered water 😉
  4. TAKE A WALK, EVERYDAY!
This doesn't seem like it would help much but let me tell you otherwise! When i started all of these things I didn't work out at all. I didn't have the motivation to and I wasn't in the right mindset, but I knew I had to move daily to feel better so I started with just 1.5 mile walk once a day (now i walk 6). Walking is/was great for me because it uses a lot of muscles in the body but it doesnt really seem like much work to walk. It gets your blood flowing, your muscles working, your mind moving and helps with stress and digestion. It really is amazing how good walking makes you feel, do your body and mind a favor and go for a walk everyday!
  1. EAT ORGANIC FOODS!
I always hear how expensive organic food is, whenever I try to get people to eat healthier. The truth is, it's worth every penny. It cost more because it is REAL food, good things cost more. This is one thing you should never comprimise on, its your health! I remember my mom saying to me "you are what you eat" when I was a kid. She didn't mean I was going to turn into a candy bar, she meant as good as that candy bar is, you cant properly sustain life on it, it will make you unhealthy and sick if you constantly eat it. This is also true for ALL processed foods, they may taste amazing, but those "foods" are destroying your body and they aren't meant to live on. I also remember people saying things like "know where your food comes from" and "don't take candy from strangers." But we don't hear those sayings anymore because we have grocery stores, so now its just crazy to question how our beef and chicken is raised (which is disgustingly inhumane for the most part) or where our apples come from (china if u shop at walmart) because its packaged pretty with some stamp saying its ok to eat?!?! Truth is, you should know your farmer, grow your own veggies (if you can) and know where the food that your putting in your mouth is coming from everyday!!! It's not ok to assume its safe and healthy because the packaging told you so, or because you bought it at a store! The body is like an engine, food is the fuel. If you put bad fuel into a good engine it doesn't run at top performance, do that for years on end and you'll end up with all kinds of engine problems. Yes organic food is a bit more expensive, but doctors visits and health problems cost way more. Do your body a favor and give it clean food, I can't describe how much better I feel since I started clean eating, its truely amazing!

As each day passes you will have a little more energy and feel like you want to do a little bit more, eventually you may wake up and want to go to a gym because you know how good it feels to be in shape Remember, it took a long time to put that weight on, it will take a long time for it to come off healthy, but if you stick with it your will succeed!
Good luck on your weight loss journey and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or comments! Peace, love, and all that hippy shit! ✌

This is really happening!

This is really happening!

About a month ago my fiance and I decided to quit our jobs, sell ALL of our stuff including our house to buy an RV and travel for a year or two. I wrote a article about our decision to do this about 3 weeks ago called *Screw it, we're doing it* and now I wanted to give everyone an update! We have now sold nearly all of our stuff, our bedroom set, our dining room table, we even sold our couch *today* so we are sitting on the floor for the next month! lol. I know it may seem a little pre-mature to sell big items like that but we posted it all for sale online and are letting the universe decide when everything sells, because we are ready to go.
The more stuff we sell and/or give away the lighter I feel and the more excited I get. I thought it would be hard to give away and sell the life I have created over the last 5 years with my fiance but we both have never felt so free as we do right now sitting on the floor in an empty house waiting to leave to Arizona to start our journey.
We don't really know why we are setting out to do this journey or where it will take us exactly, we just know we can't live in the rat race anymore. We want to try and live a simple life for a while to see what is truly important in life. We decided we can't keep selling hours of our lives (working) to buy crap we really don't need.
Life is so amazing and we feel people are always to busy working their lives away (to buy crap we dont need) to realize what they are actually missing out on. I'm not talking about Mansions and Mercedes, I'm talking about birds and beaches. Nature and being part of it is truly the most fulfilling thing in life. I know most people think this idea of ours sounds crazy but I know first hand that money does not make you happy, no matter how much you have! But being outside, feeling the wind and the sun on my body and doing what I want every single minute of every day is worth more than anyamount of money!
So I will continue on this crazy journey of figuring out what life is all about and I hope people will join me. Our travels will be starting next month and I will be documenting as much as I can so people can experience our journey with us!

The *Universe* may be trying to tell you something

The *Universe* may be trying to tell you something

Have you ever felt like the world is constantly working against you?
Maybe you feel like nothing ever goes your way, or you seem to have terrible luck with everything?
I use to feel that way all the time.
One day I realized I was looking at the whole thing wrong.
The universe wasn't against me at all, it was trying to push me in a different direction and I wasn't listening, so my life was getting increasingly more difficult the further I fell off my path.

Imagine the universe like an ocean, I was swimming against the waves, tiring myself out and not getting very far.
I thought the universe had it out for me. Then I realized, if I just turned around and went with the ocean, the waves would carry me effortlessly!

I had an epiphany: the universe was never against me, I was going against the universe!
And crazy enough the universes plan for me are much better than the life I thought I wanted!
So I guess what I am saying is sometimes you just need to look at things from a different perspective to realize how amazing things can truly be!

Maybe the UNIVERSE is trying to tell you something too

5 days to freedom! I WILL GO TO TRAVEL ON MY A.V.T.

5 days to freedom!

Have you ever wanted to quit your job, sell all of your stuff and travel the world? Well that is exactly what my fiance and I are doing. In 5 short days we will finally be leaving this old life behind to embark on a new journey in life. For the first time in our lives we will truly be free. No jobs, no bills, no homes, nothing but a pocket full of cash and big dreams for the future!
We are leaving our first home behind early Wednesday morning as we start our travels. It seems almost surreal that less than a week my entire life will change. No more talking about how the future is going to be, it will be time to put all those plans to action. All of the goals we have been working towards are being reached and starting to pay off. Our new life is beginning and for the first time in my life I feel truly free!
I'm sad to be leaving this house because I have put tons of work into it, I personally remodeled the whole thing myself from top to bottom so everything is basically brand new. But I guess ultimately that's why I we can afford to do this, because I put all of that effort into fixing this house up by myself, now I get to reap the rewards. I never imagined all of those late nights of work on the house after working 8-10 hr days would one day be the fuel that helps us reach our dreams. Crazy how life works out, you can never guess the future but when you turn around and look at the path from your past, it seems like it was so obvious!?! I guess that's why they say hindsight is 20/20.
Anyways, the house will be put up for sale the day we leave by a realtor, hopefully it will sell fast so we can buy the RV we want and start our travels sooner rather than later. As for now we are going to Arizona to stay with my parents in their winter home. Even though we are not traveling just yet, we couldn't handle another cold winter in Wisconsin so we figured we would go south (where it is warmer) while we waited for the house to sell. We will still start some adventures as soon as we get to Arizona, we have found all kinds of places we want to explore so get ready for some awesome pictures and cool stories! But we probably won't be in the RV for a few more months to be realistic :/ but that should go by fast and that will give us time to properly plan the route we want to take around the country.
We will be visiting a lot of national parks to start. We will go to a lot of hidden places that most people aren't willing to go. We will hike the distances to see the unseen, to get to the mystic waterfalls and secret caves. We really want to see the side of america that people don't take the time to see. We have been making a list of amazing places we have to visit and it is getting way to long to list, so if you are interested you will just have to wait and see ;)
I still can't believe in only 5 days my new life begins! This is the most exciting thing I have ever done in my life.
Whats your WHY?
Dare to DREAM

I think I have a problem... I LOVE SILVER STAKING - REAL SILVER METAL

I think I have a problem...

Is there a rehab facility that focuses on silver addiction? Um, I'm asking for a friend... lol..
I made my first post about silver when I got my kilo stacker less than a month ago. Since then I have accrued more than 60 oz!
That might seem ridiculous for one month but Im in a unique spot because I am selling off all of my stuff to get ready to travel the country and then the world! Recently I find myself turning a lot of my the money I make from sales of my old stuff into silver. This week i traded my gas grill for this beautiful 10 oz stacker from APMEX.
Last week i sold my bose home theatre and bought this 1lb silver eagle!
I have been slowly selling all my stuff like old snowboards, mountainboards, wakeboards and anything else worth of value that I can't take with me. After I sell it I go right down to the silver store to get silver, like some kind of junkie! Lol.
The truth is, i feel like silver is WAY under priced. I feel like I'm loosing out on a lot of money when i sell my stuff, but when i take that little bit of money to the silver shop and exchange it for silver I feel like i just won the fricken lottery! Am I the only one who realizes this is true money? Not this paper garbage they force us to carry around and use.. There is just something special about silver, when you hold it you know/feel that it is money.
Anyhow, here is the collection of silver I ended up with after all my stuff was sold! It would of been more but my fiance put her foot down lol. She said I had to split it between silver and cryptos, she likes the gains from the cryptos (because she gets to spend that). I'll get her into stacking one day tho!
Not to bad, 69 oz in all. :)
OOPS Almost forgot about this little guy :/ He was hiding next to my dog tags in my safe.
Thanks for checking out my stack :)
